It's getting closer the time I will be in Boulder meeting all the interns and the staff... and of course start the project it was assigned to me!! I'm super excited about it, i will be working with tha San Andreas Fault measuring the slip rate/deformation along the fault,  and I will be sent to California to work with Sally learning how to do GPS, which blows my mind, and some field work measuring GPS and definitely anilizing it. I have to be honest, I'm really, really nervous. But I know that everything will be the most awesome experience that I will ever have... I can't wait to go to Boulder!!! woohoo!! see ya soon!! :D only 6 days... =)

when I first knew about RESESS at a conference I thought that it would be great to be there, but my english wasn't the best one. After a long period of thinking i decided to fill the application, but when I saw everithing I needed I said Ok, Angel, maybe not for you now... But just in case I completed the application. One day in the morning I received an email from Val, and very excited I opened and for my surprise it was written on the email you have been accepted" I almost fainted by the excitement haha, I think my blood pressure went up really fast! I realized that the opportunities are always there, we just have to take advantages on it, you never know! Right now i'm very happy to be part of the 2011 RESESS Interns and I thank Valerie and all the staff to give me the opportunity that I can say is once in a lifetime.
